Chinese Cultural Performance at Local Primary School

Students and teachers at local Primary School in Melburne enjoyed an exciting Chinese cultural performance featuring Peking Opera, a Guzheng solo, Shaolin Kung Fu demonstration, and the dazzling Sichuan Face-Changing (Bian Lian).

In addition to watching the performances, everyone had the chance to interact with the artists — trying on Peking Opera props, touching the Guzheng instrument, learning some simple Kung Fu moves, and discovering the secrets behind Sichuan Face-Changing culture.

It was a vibrant and engaging way to celebrate Chinese heritage, giving students a memorable hands-on cultural experience.

Recently, I was overjoyed to receive invitations from several aged care facilities to bring captivating Chinese dance performances to their residents and share the beauty of Chinese art and culture.

On stage, I expressed the charm of Chinese culture through graceful movements; off stage, I engaged in heartfelt conversations with the elderly, sharing the stories behind the art and my performances. Seeing them interact with smiles on their faces filled me with so much joy and appreciation.
